I've been sick. Yes.

I'll tell more in the next entries..
Right now, I am recovering, trying to rebuild my muscles and strengths..
Also, I now weigh 50-55kg- looking not well & a bit terrible for my bony frame 😌
but hey, on positive notes- 'kan dah lama nak kurus', Dr Syahrin (2018). cehhh

Hello 2018!

Assalamualaikum & Hi to whoever that might be reading this, (I'm no Vivy nor Hanis, but hopefully I have my people going through my blog). It has been long since I last post an entry here. My oh my, that SUPER LAZYBUGS really had me. So, what I've been up to in 2018? Well, first thing first, all these times I've been busy with many activities..and so many dramas in between too 😁

Last year was a hectic year. Ever since I moved back to Kampung to live with my mom, I've started this THE MIST: Inspired Body Mist business with a long time friend, Habib. Together we have came up with (actually trillion) many ideas on the business that we should or could venture in. 

Me doing business, however, has been quite stressful for my mom- pity her! Having people asking her about my career, sometimes annoyed her. With me, graduated in Master of Accountancy, it's pretty much expected for public to expect me to have teaching job or lecture in Univ or even 'kerja makan gaji besar'. Oh well, people & their expectations - better not feed it :P

My years as research assistant too, comes in handy- now I'm still doing freelance editing job for thesis or assignment if my time permits. Working like this is really the epitome of living life as I please 😎, really.

Apart from that, I'm also juggling between being a homemade-self taught baker and a freelance travel agent and Giffarine dealer (holla at me for original Giffarine products), I'm grabbing all opportunities coming my way. So you see, I'm actually well occupied though I don't have the usual-normal 8-6 job 😉.

One more great thing that happened in 2017 was that I've managed to lose weight - about 20kg to be precise! A huge change, coming from close to 90kg to weighing below 70kg. Though the reason behind it is pretty stressful (which I'll tell you in next post), still I shed the weight!

Korea, the land of Winter Sonata

Korea is geographically situated in a temperate climate zone at medium latitude. As a result, it has four distinct seasons. In general, spring is from March to May, summer from June to August, autumn from September to November, and winter from December to February. 

And now it's that time of the year again-WINTER, where Korea turns into a winter wonderland. In winter, the days are shorter and the mountainous regions are covered with snow. Though the weather can be brutal, put on your winter coat and enjoy South Korea! There are many things to do exclusively in winter and definitely worth every single Won, and I personally LOVE LOVE WINTER KOREA!

When in South Korea during winter, don't forget to warm up with the oh-so-many glorious street food! Some of them are even serve exclusively during winter only!' Savory and sweet winter street foods like bungeoppang, hotteok, baked sweet potatoes, and hoppang, just to name a few, are all-time favorite snacks for Koreans regardless of age. Live up your K-Drama fantasy of eating out from carts and stalls which can easily be spotted at every street corner. It's super cheap too!

                        

2. Ski! Ski! Ski! Ski!!
