Day 58 9/11/2013, yesterday,
due to some weirdness and boredom bugs in us,
Iylia, Dayah and I googled things that could be done in Shah Alam.
Turn out, we were connected to Taman Botani Negara's website!
Walaweh~ Why not? It's just nearby,supposedly.
By 12.30 we board into the mpv and off to the Taman Botani Negara.
Taman Botani Negara was previously known as Taman Pertanian Bukit Cerakah or Bukit Cahaya Alam if I'm not mistaken. If you see any of those names,it's referring to that one same place! Parking fee is RM 3 and entrance fee also RM3 (adults).
The most weird things is, you can't really locate it through your GPS. So, here let me tell you some secret. How to get there --> IT"S LOCATED IN SEKSYEN 8 Shah Alam! If you already reach Shah Alam and don't really know where is Seksyen 8, set your GPS to ' Jalan Liku 8/1' and when you reach there, just go all the way till the end, you'll see the entrance to Taman Botani Negara there. For me I say as newcomers to the town,it's easier if you exit Lebuhraya Persekutuan at Padang Jawa/iCity exit, and from there, turn right and just go straight for few kilometers passing few traffic lights and you'll see the signboard to Taman Botani at Seksyen 8. It's easier since you don't have to pass any roundabout and all, or if you knew Shah Alam well, then go find Seksyen 8 lah~
Later on when we reached the park, we hop onto the free busride through the park. Wow, it's HUUUUUUGEE!! It took about 15 minutes by bus to go around if I was right. There's lots of mini park there such as Herbs Park, Mini Zoo, etc etc. However, the one that we wanted to go most was the 4 season house! Bad timing is bad timing! It was just closed for renovation transition to the winter season. Aish, I'll make sure to go again next time!
However it was raining when we're about to hop off, so we decided not to and to go back home. But than we find it too bad if we waste the free time, we headed to Kuala Lumpur, to the National Museum we go! It was such a great time at the museum as well. Entrance fee is just RM 2. Go there sometimes!~
